Lifting a merc V6 2/ without lifting eye

Quick one.

Anyone know now the best way to lift the above off and onto a boat but without the use of the lifting eye bolt that screws into flywheel ? Thinking of using strops round about the transom bracket under near where the rams are (whilst tilted up a bit).

I personally wouldn’t risk it for the sake of a $25 tool, the strops may damage some other components such as electrics, plastics etc, not to mention it swinging round and hitting you.
