Lifting the 1996 200 HP Vindicator

I'm not finding any hooks or lifting points on my engine so I can pick it off the back. I do see some threaded holes for bolts, and I'm assuming there's an attachment mechanism for both sides of the engine? Where do I hunt those down?

I see some old posts on the Net saying you attach a harmonic balancer to the flywheel, as if to pull the flywheel off, and just use that (attached with three 5/16th fine thread bolts) and pull up the entire motor from the flywheel. Sound right? 450 pounds from three bolts like that? What would my hydraulic lift hook attach to?

That is how the factory lifting device works.---Uses those 3 threaded 5/16 -fine holes.--------------Probably has a factor of safety built into it as well.---See your friendly dealer for advice and a part #

Be sure to use grade 8 bolts.
