Lights, bilge, live well pump

Should the bilge, live well pumps and lights function even when the ignition switch is in off with the key out?

It's a 2000 Fischer.

Of course. When you are fishing or under way the bilge pump needs to run. At night when anchored the white stern light needs to be on. Besides, you wouldn't want to have to have the ignition on but the engine not running just to have this stuff work. If you happen to have an I/O that would mean the ignition would be powered and drawing a fair amout of current for no reason.

That's what i figured, we recently installed a new ignition switch, thought we may have done something wrong.
