Well thats a bit of a subject. You can use lights for docking but not while running at night it blinds other boaters. Now that being said I have a set of HID fog lights to help out in some of the real nasty fogs I often have on the small mountain lakes I run. Their mounted under the deck on the front.

I just put on 55 watt off road lights and they work ok.

iboats has a pretty decent selection of docking lights but they are just that, for docking.

Boats aren't like car where you drive around with your lights on a night, on the water is actually makes it harder to see and you almost ensure you are going to hit something, it is far better to let your eyes adjust and just go dark.

I run at night all the time and once you learn how to read the water if there is any light at all you can see a pop can floating 100 feet away where you would miss it for sure with lights on and you blind other boaters.
