The Lights switch on my boat is a 2 position.
1st. position the bow and lites terminals are hot
2nd .position the bow and anchor terminals are hot. Can anyone tell me the "Normal" sequence of events as the switch is pulled on.I know the bow term. is for the bow lite. The lites term. is I'm guessing for speedometer and fuel lites. And the anchor is for the bright white lite in the rear of the boat that you fish by.

bushrod,

You can wire it anyway you want.

However, I like:

First position-anchor (rear white light) only.

Second position-anchor, bow and instrument lights on. This would be the "running" position.
