Hi everone i dont post much on here but look at all the good info i just bought this today for $15 its a 3012 the elderly guy said he could not get it running, but im wondering if this is why thanks

Me thinks that hole in the powerhead may have something to do with it, and the broken rod inside that corresponds to the creation of that hole.

Well at least you didn't pay too much for it. You can get your money back by selling parts off it. I paid more than that for a set of lower cowlings.

That's a major ouch right there, if I ever saw it. It may be resorable, but it'll be easier to just get another powerhead.
