Hi Phil,

Link is in reference to the throttle linkages. The idea is to ensure that all carbureter throttle butterfly plates open and close in synch. The second part is to synchronize the throttle with the ignition timing, setting the maximum spark advance for when the throttle is open at it's widest point.
