I have a 1992 28 hp johnson I set the link & sync to specs in seloc's manual.between 1500 an 3000 rpm it ran awfull and sounded worse.I moved the cam roller about a quarter inch past the marks on the the cam. It ran great in all rpm's but wants to surge sometimes .Did I mess up by doing this?I never run at wot. Its on a 24 ft.pontoon.
