I recently purchased a 1990 Bayliner Capri BR. I took it out this weekend and noticed that when I am riding, the craft tends to lean slightly to the right forcing me to literally sit on the left edge of the seat. My bilge is operating properly. I recently has a CMC tilt and trim installed. Im perplexed. Any thoughts???

Re: Listing

Hi, sounds like your body weight throws the boat out of balance and it leans to the right. Add a similar weight passenger to the left seat and see if it stays even.

Re: Listing

Many things can cause the boat to list, but most often boats are designed with the helm seat to the right inorder to counter balnace the torque of the prop. Prop torque tries to rotate the boat to the left (port). Do you have any planing devices on the motor? Are you triming the motor up once you are on plane? Is the Motor now centered on the transom? Is the motor too high? Look at the overall balance and then determine if the problem is at a particular speed or condition.
