Little help force carb problem

well I got my boat out today for a test run and the 1990 force 15 HP all of sudden the bowl on the carb fell off. So I then took the carb off and the one bolt that holds the bowl on fell out now my questions is that there is an xtra o ring that was in there that I dont know were it goes there was one on the bolt so it is not that one also has anyone ever had this happen before any info would be great thanks

never had this happen but if your carb is like my 50hp carb, which i think it is, that extra o-ring goes just inside the bowl. I install it by resting it on top of the metal tube and putting the bowl on upside down. let me know if you dont understand this and ill try and explain better.

so you are saying that the other o ring goes bolt, o ring,then bowl then o ring then screw it in

Yeah thats correct. I just redid the carbs on my 150 and i think its the same as yours.


Bolt > Oring > Bowl > oring > tube (that the bolt screws into)
