I bought a boat with twin 94 johnson 225s the first thing I did was change impeller and housing.. It was my first time doing so.. Everything went fine although i was a little surprised to see the counter rotation impeller was installed the same direction as standard rotation but I heard that is the way it should be.. When I run the motors on muffs the cr spits out a stream about 12 feet from the boat while the other motor only spits out about 2 feet. I did not check for clogs in the line yet. I am not sure how to anyways.. If anyone can give me a heads up on what to look for.... I dont want to drop the lower unit unless i have to... I am sure I put it back together correctly because i did one at a time and compared the two as I went..
thanks
Roger

I dont think I pinched the grommit but I might have..It was a little difficult getting it back on by myself.. One other thing I did notice today is that there is a little exaust coming out of the two holes beside the water streammm. The other motor with alot of water does not have exaust..
Thanks
