Livewell drain above or below water line?

Building aluminum boat from scratch. About to drill the livewell drain. Should I go above or below?

No need to make multiple threads for your project. Keep em all in the same place and you'll get better responses.

I accidentally reposted. Not used to forums.

If you live well is below waterline it will not drain keep that in mind even hard to pump out
