The Trim up/down switch is in the control handle, the down works, up works sporadically but usually does not.
I have read that the problem is most likely one of the relays and they should be somewhere in the engine compartment in a box.
I have searched pretty thoroughly for the relays or relay box and havent been able to find it...
Does anyone know where it is located or if i am even on the right track..

I believe they are part of the trim pump assembly. Have someone work the switch while u listen at the back for the "clicking"

I never did find the relays, but I did find the problem...
There is a 3 prong connection that connects the harness to the Solenoids and since it is a water resistant connection it is completely covered and difficult to tell whether or not it is fully plugged together..
It wasn't...
So from my only experience in this area I recommend check all connections starting at the power source all the way back, give the plugs a wiggle and a push before ya do any unnecessary surgery...

Thanks to you gurus and enthusiasts for all for the answers to all of our questions which I am sure get old and repetitive...
and to iboats for providing the forums.. and best prices on parts...
