PT Barnum was known to do things to create conversation. I could see where his idea would be possible. Somehow though when people say the humps were farther apart, it would have had to been a very big elephant. Maybe it was Jumbo?

Cheers RP, when the site wouldn't let me in today I suddenly thought that Ms Deezy had managed to remotely block my access......paranoid and guilty? me? you better believe it! If you haven't seen Ms Deezy in full flight then you can't understand the fear she instills in the hearts of grown, battle-hardened men.......she was thrown out of the Metropolitan Police for cruelty and that's saying something these days
