Lofrans project 1000 clutch nut broken

Clutch nut broke off on my project 1000 lofrans windless and I need to get it replaced the problem is the it broke off in the top of the windless. Anyone know how to get it off?

I don't have any pictures unfortunately but this is a screenshot of the parts break down and the part that broke off is part 947 in the picture the thing i don't get is that it would appear that it just thread in and out but when it is not broken it is a clutch nut and it only turns a 1/4 so I don't know how it can thread in and out being that it only turns a quarter turnScreen Shot 2012-06-27 at 9.42.50 AM.jpg

I had the same thing happen with the clutch nut on my Lofran's project 1000. Were you able to fix it?

Ok so what you have to do is get a tool for removing stripped nuts but it has to be a reverse one because the clutch nut threads in lefty tighty for some reason. I got the tool at Home Depot. Then drill a small pilot hole and then use the tool to remove the thread part out of the top on the winch. Then just get the new nut from imtra and it will be fixed.
