log style to center risers??????

Sorry guys I've tried the search forum and maybe doing it wrong but just cant seem to get the answers I'm looking for. I have a 1979 SeaRay SRV197 with 305 sbc with log style exhaust I'm now replacing the motor and know that the manifolds are cracked, should I replace with same kind or is it cheaper and or easier to switch to center risers? And any ideas on best/cheapest place to get either? Are there any advantages with going to center risers?

Center risers flow much better and you can buy a conversion kit to do the job, Sierra 18-1987-1.
