Okay, so I want to be able to log-off my computer, but I have never done it.
What is the default log-off password for a computer?
I would hate to log-off and not be able to get into my computer.

Thanks in advance,
B.C.

Re: Logging off

You don't need a password to log off but you might need one to get back on. Are you running Windows?

Re: Logging off

Do you know if your computer is set up to require a password?

Re: Logging off

If it wasn't set up to require a password it will just make you declare a 'user' when the computer boot up. You may only have one 'user' set up so it would probably be a no brainer.

You can check it all out in control panel/user accounts. It will show you what is.

Here's a question I suppose everybody but me knows, what do you accomplish when you "log off"?

Re: Logging off

On a computer with real security the abilty to access YOUR computer would stop when you log off

tommays
