In the uk i see many boats with pretty cool advertising logos on them, does anyone know where these type of things can be sourced and being adverts, are they free?
Haven't been to UK lately but have a good idea of what you are talking about.<br /><br />Some tournament fishermen will obtain sponsorship to help finance their expenses. Sponsors become most visible when their name is on a winning boat rather than on a piece of paper and therefore afford greater participation when fisherman agree to put their name on the side of their boat. This has proven to be succesful for NASCAR (stock car racing) here in the states and is starting to catch on in other competitive events with the philosophy of "what wins on Sunday sells on Monday." I've even heard where some major sponsors will get a contract to receive a percentage of winning monies when committing to a long term sponsorship. <br /><br />These are self adhering plastic that are not damaging to the boat and can be used over again if properly taken care of and cost between $100 - $300 to have made depending on size and graphics.<br /><br />I did a co-op sponsorship along with Costa Del Mar Sunglasses for a team fishing a local bass tournament and have a picture of the boat with our name on it hanging in our optical shop.<br /><br />Kevin<br /><><
