I've seen this boat sitting at a dock for 5 years now and I'm considering buying it but I know very little about it. I do know its a Lone Star Aluminum boat, its longer then 14 FT maybe 16 FT? ive looked up lone star boats on the web boat nothing look like it. it looks more like a star craft but it has lone star badges seen on it.
I posted a pic of the bow and and aerial shot of the boat. i will try to get better photos. Also i posted a pic of a star craft that looks just like it.
the owner of the boat is trying to locate the paperwork for it at the moment.

Anyone know about this boat?

Your photo didn't load. Forum photo function not working well right now.

Use photobucket.com it's free fast and easy, not to mention works well! Paste IMG code into your post text and it's done.

Try the link below for Lone Star pictures, specs and history. I had a 1966 Lone Star Medallion II that was very similar to the subject boat with a faux lapstrake aluminum hull and, if that one measures 16ft-4in. CL length, it may be an earlier Medallion. However, I think it is shorter and it does not appear to have the forward access, sliding hatch in the cap like all Medallion models. Your best shot at identification may be getting the actual measurements and comparing them to what is listed in the fiberglassics.com website. I really loved my old Lone Star for 23 years. Let us know what you decide to do!

EDIT: Take a look at the 1966 Del Ray 15 model
at this link: http://www.fiberglassics.com/wiki/im...stara66004.jpg

The Del Ray 15 does not appear in the model listings prior to 1966 and remained through 1969 even after Chrysler bought Lone Star. You can find a little more info under the Chrysler link :
