I own a 22.5 bayliner with a 350 MAG MPI & Bravo III outdrive. Last summer I started noticing a delay (3 seconds) after engaging the lever into gear & its getting worse. Is there an adjustment at the lever itself or just the 3" adjustment where cable meets in the engine compartment?

Clutch cone more than likely but you can try a cable adjustment. Engine compartment

Very unlikely spun on a B3...defo worth checking the shift cable at both ends. Other slight chance is that the gear oil has been contaminated with water or wrong oil is causing the cone clutch to slip.
