I am sure this has been covered a million times, but my laziness and me wanting to comment on replies, I decided to post anyway. I got a 1999 Hydra Sports 230 WA practically given to me. I plan on cleaning her up and give her to my son. It has a 99 Johnson 200 (OceanPro?) on it with about 80 hours on it. The fuel tank is loaded with fuel that is 5 years old. I know I need to drain that. I plan on changing the lower unit oil, fuel lines, spark plugs, impeller and putting a fresh battery in her. I will probably have the carbs rebuilt as well. Anything I am missing? Thanks.

Start it up on a tank of 50-1 mix if the VRO pump is still hooked up to the oil tank. Continue running pre-mix gas until you confirm the VRO is working
