What do you need to know?

15" short shaft
20" Long shaft
25" extra long shaft

The vertical measurement from the transom where it supports the OB to the bottom of the keel/transom.

You can try using the search feature by clicking "search" in the tool bar.

As for shaft length, typically you have the choices below:

Short = 15"
Long = 20" (Sometimes called regular shaft)
Extra Long = 25"
XXL = 30"

The shaft length on the motor is measured from the bracket to the anit-cavitation plate on the leg. (The part where the engine sits on the transom to the first plate above your prop.)

You should use a tape measure and measure the height of your transom at the center line. The motor shaft length should be as close to or the same as this length.

Most people start with mounting the motor so that the anti-cavitation plate is directly inline with the bottom of the boat and adjust from there.

Measure your transom straight down from the transom top, not on an angle with the transom rake.
