Michigan prop I got in trade.
Looked not right I compared it to my aluminum prop and
it appears the hub was not pressed all the way in.
any input?? Can I run it like this?
Previous owner stated prop was great and had no problems

Ayuh,... Yer pictures suck, but it appears, with the right hardware kit, it'll work, just fine...

Ya need space for the lockin' spline washer...

Ya hard to tell with pictures. There is about 1/16 to 1/8 inch space between hub and top hub jacket.

So I really just need a washer with the lockin spline washer.

As long as the thrust washer plugs in all the way on the back side it will be fine. If you are using the Mercury locking spline wsher, then you will need about 1/8 inch of the propshaft splines showing past the prop hub (jacket). If both these conditions are met or if you are using a locknut and plain washer the prop ill work with no problems.
