:joyous: Don't know the model, but just purchased one of them. Will be picking it up soon. It is a 1974 Starcraft, and I am in need of some expert advice on how to begin the process of restoration. Will post some pics when I get it, it does have some bow damage, and has been setting out in the weather (Oregon Willamettte Valley) for the past 5 years, so there will be some major work to do. Will get posted when I find the information on the model.

I am sure that you have a "Bill Dance Pro" model here, because I just purchased one of them and am starting the restoration process. Mine is identical to what you show.

Cap'n, sir! start a resto thread on your boat. be prepared for some good natured harassment if/when you have to glass in new stringers, floor and transom. but it's still a Starcraft, which makes it IMHO way better than a Bayliner Crapi (saw that on CL, not sure if it was a Freudian slip or deliberate dig or just a typo but i liked it...) or suchlike

Bring it on! Boat is solid, just needing to repair a couple of cracks in the bow, and repaint. Some rust, some stuck gear that dowsn't want to work, but otherwise, the boat is solid. Trailer is solid, paint is blistered, but otherwise paintable and repairable. For $200, it was a bargain and I am having a ball with it! Will try to get some pictures, but not sure how to work that yet. I am still in kodac mode. Don't know how to start a new thread either.

cool. i wouldn't wish grinding out old glass on anyone. and $200 certainly gives you bottom feeder cred....we love bottom feedin.

and when the floor finally rots out, it will make a good donor boat for a tinnie resto ;)

i should warn you that Starmada dues consist of copious pix of the boat and any work you do on it. :watermelon: there's this guy with a chainsaw and strong feelings about glass boats that you don't want to **** off. ever heard of the Michigan Chainsaw Massacree? he hides the chainsaw and looks really mild mannered..........

to start a new thread, you'd want to click on that huge red "start new thread" button on the main Starcraft page.
