Looking for '75 OMC 165hp Outdrive LOWER UNIT

eBay is proving to be a pain, so I'm wondering if anyone out here has a lower unit they'd be willing to part with.

It's going on my OMC 165 outdrive. 165hp GM L6 250 cid motor pushing it. My lower unit bit the dust, so I need a used replacement...

Anyone that has one lying around and wants to get rid of it, let me know!!! My and my wife would certainly appreciate it!!!

Oh, it's okay. I don't mind having a "working" project boat. She's seaworthy until somthing breaks! I love TowBoat U.S.!!! Can you say "Unlimited Towing"??? When the lower unit went, we were 15 miles off shore and when tow boat showed up, he asked if I had unlimited towing. When I told him I did, he told me to throw out the trolling lines. 6knt tow in with a couple of kings to boot!

I think there is a complete drive and intermediate assy at Joe's marine in wanchese NC that had 400 hours or so on it and we repowered it, I dont know much about it other than it had a v-8 chevy with about 420 hours and its a 73 electric shift that came from the midwest someplace.

Think we can find out what kind of $$ could get it? All I really need is a functional lower unit so I assume that V8 / V6 / L6 won't make any difference. I'm taking apart my broken one today.
