Looking for a carb kit for a 86 evinrude v4 vro

Can I purchase a kit from a local dealer or do I have to order it? I live near Houston TX. Suggestons?

before I replace my carb gaskets what do I put the plastic
carb into to remove gunk so I can clean them out

Carb cleaner from your local auto parts store. If you don't have a service manual, it is strongly suggested you get one. Check your library if you don't want to buy one. Factory manuals are best.

don't forget the float gauge part # 324891. a $12.00 tool that will save you a lot of time.
