Can someone identify the make or model number. It came out of a 1990 Seaswirl 17' Tempo Runabout with a 15 gallon inboard fuel tank (I think). Thanks in advance. The contacts are so gummed up with gunk that the connection barely works. since it is so old I would like to just replace it brand new. The depth is about 4 3/4 inches and the length of the float shaft is 3 3/8 in.

tolent, it looks like the typical fuel sender setup available everywhere. In fact iboats sells them here.

Have you checked to see if it still works? Lots of times once they are cleaned up, they work without any problems. If you clean it up and it doesn't work, then buy another one right here at the iboat store. JMHO

The contacts are not touching each other. I tried gently pushing n on one side to see if I can push them back together but no good.

Have you considered a reed style sender? Far more reliable.

No. Just looking for something that will work but doesn't cost very much. I've seen them online for about $30.
