Looking for a part number for tilt trim switch

I have a 1998 40hp electric 2stroke 3cyl. It is a tiller model. The tiller does not have the power tilt/trim switch. My switch is on the pan or motorhead. I have seen my tiller with the swtich. Does anyone know the part # or where I can find one of these switches. I have not been able to find it looking at the diagrams.

I am new to this forum, although I have searched when I needed to. I live in NY and use the boat mostly for fishing and duck hunting. Having a great time this summer.

I do not know the model #. It is a 1998 40hp electric start,power tilt trim. 3 cyl 2 stroke that was converted to tiller handle. Cowling is squarish. Tilller has forward,neutral,reverse and keystart. Does that help?

Did you look on the data plate for the model number? Do you have the original owner's manual?

I just spent a hour on the phone with Yamaha. I could find the part in the owners manual, but no where in the parts guide. The guy finally found it in a rigging manual for a 2002. If anyone is interested in getting the little power tilt/trim box that affixes to the tiller, the part # is 63D-82563-00-00. I have not seen a picture of the peice, but ordered it. It should come soon.
