Looking for a Radar for a 23' center console

I just purchased a 23' cc and am looking for a radar setup for it. 2k limit. I understand that I should get one that comes in close? This is all new to me, any sugestions?

Stand-alone or system? What's your goal? Just close quarter naviagation or for fishing, i.e. looking for birds?

What other equiptment do you have onboard?

We have a had nothing but problem with our raython pathfinder 2kw on our sailboat.

Look into JRC and Furuno
