Looking for a Refurbished or Rebuilt engine..

Sorry for my lack of terminology as I am not very familiar with The whole engine thing..

But anyway, my engine is basically screwed because of the freeze cracks and have been looking for a used or rebuilt 5.0l Volvo penta motor (or block) and have had no luck. Maybe I'm just looking up the wrong stuff. Whatever the case, I need to find one because I REALLY want to get my boat on the water this season. Any help would be kindly appreciated

I'm located in the Milwaukee area if that helps any.

You don't need a Volvo Penta engine, you just need a new long block. i would suggest upgrading to a 350 since it uses the same bolt on parts and same price as a 305 plus the added HP.

Just make sure the new motor/long block is built for marine use.
