Looking for advice on new boat

Just sold my boat ,,, and time to buy something to replace it.

I did pitch the question at end of last year, but ended up running on another season.

Looking for an 18-21' bowrider, that is OK in in-shore use (can be choppy) towed watersports (so will need a Tower) .... probably 2 yr old max
Need good space in cockpit, not for extra passengers... but for kitting up for watersports.
Must have a good swim platform.

My original options to look at were
Cobalt 200
Chaparral SSI 216
Bryant 210 (but don't think I'll find one in UK)

Interested in comments on these options ...........

Have also been told worth considering Monterey ? ... have no knowledge of this make, how would a 194/204FS compare to options mentioned.

Just to throw a different option out there, have you considered the Yamaha 212X? It is jet drive, so that may or may not be something you're interested in, but it hits all of your points above. 21 footer, lots of interior space, excellent swim platform, tower, ballast system, lots of power. The AR210 is a fair amount less money, has less power (220 hp vs 360) but has all of the other stuff. We have an SX210, which is basically the same thing as the AR210, minus the tower, and love it.

I think your three choices would all work just fine - all are respected brands.

I have a Chap 206 SSI (one foot shorter and 100 pounds lighter than 216) and am 100% satisfied. Looked hard at the Cobalt 200 (fine boat) but decided the Chap was more bang for a little less buck.

actually have just seen a 2008 model 210 SSI on offer ... is this similar to 206 ssi ? it has a 5.0L with only 50 Hrs on it.
