OK here goes <br />I am getting ready to build a boat from scratch<br />for me there are 2 options<br />1 take a glenL monaco and turn it into a rear cockpit mid engine gentlemans racer<br />Or 2 a Clark Craft Mongoose Either one will have GM<br />5.7 power as that is what I already Have<br />Has anyone out here built a monaco is my question<br />I am wondering what the cost was to put the hull together, would I bee too far off if I said 6,500?<br />I know I can do the mongoose for about 4,000<br />but would much rather have a rear seater<br /><br />I live on a good size lake in NH and have seen these boats in action and they cut water like a dream<br />Any help would be apreciated
