putting humpty dumpty back together. picked up the alternator out of the box, gave it a spin...... sounds like a dry rear bearing.

I'll bet if you go to a alternator repair shop you will find it.The might install it for next to nothing.

havent found a shop that installs anything for free. will be following up with the alternator shop tomorrow.
