I'm really getting sick of buying things on ebay and not getting feedback. It really anoys me, I've bought like 17 or 18 things and only have a feedback of 10. I always leave feedback. I have never got any bad feedback, I just wish there was some way to make the people I buy from and then leave positive feedback do the same for me.

Any sugestions?

Ryan,

I'm almost one for one. I do tend to "nicely" pester them a bit.

If you're "nice" about it, they'll help you out.

I always tell them that I left pos feedback also. Seems the sellers almost always leave feedback in an effort to build up their rating. But my buyers rarely leave feedback. Those buyers will rethink the whole thing once they start selling stuff.

I use a program called Shooting Star which tracks all buying and selling on EBay.

It also tracks all feedback. It will 'pester' the seller (or buyer) as well, in a nice professional way.

If you do any amount of buying and selling, I recommend this program. It was $49 when I bought it with lifetime upgrades etc...

H.

Just send them a nice email reminder that you have left them positive feedback and you would like the same.

Some sellers wait until the buyer leaves feedback. Its their way (not the right way) of insuring good feedback. That way if you leave bad feedback you will GET bad feedback.

Hi, here's what I do. Add this or similar wording to your after sale messages. "Regarding feedback, as the item seller the only comment I can make it that you paid, but, you the buyer can make comments about the item's quality, value, speed of shipping, and quality of packaging, therefore, I always post feedback when I receive feedback. Thank you for understanding". Does this work, currently I have 278 positives from 308 ebay sales and purchases. One negative from a guy who couldn't multiply 2 x 25 and get 50, go figure. :D

Leaving feedback as a buyer or seller is strictly voluntary. I'm about 66%. I tell them would they mind leaving feedback for me, and I'll be glad to do the same for them. Hit or miss. :)
