looking for information on my boat and where i might find some parts needed...no

ok, what i think i have is a 1964 crestliner aluminum 14' welded not riveted boat. i am looking to find another windshield (mines plexi and scuffed) and also the original emblems that were at one time attatched to the sides of the boat in center near rear. only pop rivets there now. also, if anyone reads this and has a boat like this i would really like to see a photo if possible to give me some ideas on restoration. neat little boat in semi-excellent condition. thanks for any help y'all might be able to give me. Good luck , sounds like a nice find. Have 1956 lone star that may outlive all of us.

Hey Bareley....You might try to find a "Tap Plastics" store in your area. They not only sell fiberglass products and related stuff, but as I recall they also stock(ed) sheets of clear plastic in different thickness' and sizes.<br />You could use your old windshield as a template and bingo, you izz in bizzness. <br /> ...Bob in Calif...

As far as the windshield goes, try the following link to the fiberglassics board, there was a guy who made his own windshield. Taylor-made used to make them but dont anymore. They do still sell a lot of the hardware. Good Luck http://www.fiberglassics.com/messageboardx/showmessage.asp?messageID=2121
