That's pretty much it. I just bought a boat that needs a tank. Old aluminum tank sprung a leak, and just learned today a new one from the same company will be $750 not including shipping. I'd like to look into a plastic tank as well, just don't know where to look. Anyone have any leads. Thanks, Nick.

Nick, Tempo is what comes to my mind right off the top. You can find them at www.tempoproducts.com and I bet you can find a large selection of their tanks in the mega mall on this site. $750 sounds steep. Out of curiosity what capacity tank is it? WH

It is an 86 gallon tank. It would have to be made, as I haven't come across a production plastic tank that is more than 50 gallons.

I would doubt you could have a plastic tank custom made for the price of a alum one. $750 sounds cheap now rather than steep. LOL

I see a 50 and a 36 below deck fuel tanks from iboats. That would give you 86 if both would fit. Maybe you can put them close together, one behind the other (not side to side so that your boat doesn't tilt). You could use a switch to change which tank you are using.
