Looking For Pair of 17" Louvered Vents. 2-1/2" wide. For older Chris-Craft.
There're around, just not too available. Chrome preferred, but would look at other options (ss, plastic).
Anyone have a link or tip where I might locate a pair? Thanks.

Thanks for the link. Close, but no match. That's the problem I'm running into...

I need 17" x 2.5" louvered 7-vent vent with two screw holes at each end.

Ideally, I find drop in replacements, without modification. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Is that measurement for the overall size of the vent, or the size of the cutout??

Some carver boats use a 17 1/4 x 2 1/2 vent. Might fit ( depends on cutout size )

I'll have to pull the vents, take measurements of cutout. May be that I'll have to modify something to fit. Thanks.

That would definitely fit. More screw holes, but that's doable... I wonder if this design would pull exhaust from engine compartment, tho, like an louvered vent would?

I wondered that too. I think air moving over any opening will have a suction effect - but how efficient any vent is will depend on many factors anyway ( hull design, speed, wind direction etc ).

One difference is that with the louvered vents facing aft, no air enters moving forward, so it's always in exhaust mode.
