Looking for repair manual '82 VIP 305 V8

Greetings,

Anyone have a suggestion for a supplier of repair manuals? Looking for the boat and motor manual for a 1982 VIP Vivian Louisiana 305 V8.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the "Adults Only" sticky at the top of this forum? There you can find OEM factory manuals for some engines and outdrives. You can download them for free. There are no boat manuals there that I'm aware of. Good luck and welcome to iboats.

Hey Jim,
If you are looking for a repair manual for the boat, you won't find one. Boat manufacturers fabricate the hulls and decks, seats, stuff like that. but the equipment installed is purchased from the actual manufacturer of the part. Stereos, speakers, gauges helm, controls, etc. There is no "standard" to go by.
The engine and drive package is different. You can find service manuals for them thru boat dealers and on line, but you must search for them by drive manufacturer. Mercruiser, Volvo, OMC, etc.

If your boat is equipped with a Mercruiser engine/drive system, go to the adults only section above like fuzzy bob said.
Otherwise search out 4shared.com you may find a freebie there. Or just search (your engine) service manual.

No, I have all $6,000 worth of manuals right here.
I guess it's been a while. last time I looked, NO volvo or omc.

Why are you hanging YOUR head???? You answered his question, I ranted....

There have been 6-7 new threads this morning asking questions that are almost word for word matches to sticky titles.

Merc, VP and OMC manuals are all available in the adults only/DIY section free to anybody who looks.
