Looking for some design feedback...pontoon jon boat?

a 16 foot by 6 foot floating platform basically to fish from. gonna be in mostly small lakes, and rivers. I have never seen anything like what I am thinking about.that could be cool or it could be because it wont work. What do you guys think? please ask questions and comment, I am seriously thinking about making this. Plan on putting a 6hp johnson on the back and hopefully a foot control troller off the front.

Pretty much what I am going for, something two people can fish from and stand up without being terrbly concerned with fliiping it

You think two canoes and a platform would be easier/cheaper to make?

I have seen small like 10-14 ft pontoon boats for sale-if you google pontoon boat kits you find them--for small water

Ayuh,... You can Redneck it with a sheet of plywood, a few 2x4s, 'n a pile of Bungee cords...

And a couple of canoes of course....

'ell,... You can even break it down for transport.... Been there, done it....
