Welcome to Iboats.

How damaged is your old prop? You may be able to get it rebuilt for less than the cost of new. Even if you still want to get a new one, it's not a bad idea to have the old one rebuilt to keep as an emergency spare. The prop shop would also be able to tell you the pitch of it so you would have a good starting point on wisely selecting a new prop.

BTW have you tried looking in both the exhaust portion, and on the barrel of the prop between the blades for the diameter and pitch numbers?

As far as keeping motor RPM's down, you don't want to over prop the motor. It can, and will do worse things to the engine (think melted pistons from detonation), than selecting a prop that sets the engine in the correct RPM ranges for WOT. If you want to take it easy on her, back off the throttle a bit.... ;)

You want to prop the motor so that it runs in the full throttle rpm range of 4500-5500 rpm.

The Soloas Amita(aluminum) 13.5 X 15 pitch should be a place to start. The number is 1411-135-15. $94.45 here.

The 4 blade version(13 X 15) is number 1413-130-15. That one would work better for what you seem to want; better hole shot and cruising performance since you don't want to run wide open all the time. And it's only like $10 more.

By that part number, I'm coming up with right hand 15 pitch.

The Mercury prop selector indicates that your motor should turn 5200- 5300 rpm with a 15 pitch prop.
