Hello there,<br /><br /> I am looking for a tachometer for a 1961 Johnson 40 H.P. Model number RDS-23. I have been searching the net for days and can not find one that would work for me. I would like to have it to mount on the console of my 14 foot runabout. I am also looking for wire hookups for spedometer. I have a gauge mounted to the console but nothing in the way of wiring to the engine or wherever.
It shouldn't be very hard.<br /><br />Also, keep an eye on ebay for old 'Airguide' tachs for use with magnetos. Or for that matter old OMC gauges.<br /><br />Hope some of that helps!
