Looks like I lucked out.

I posted a week or so back about my boat. After fighting with a miss on 3 cylinders I took the head off. I found a valve was stuck open on #5. The valve was in good shape. Being a new engine not too many hours ago, it was in excelent condition.<br />Got the intake gasket, new exhaust tube, valve cover gasket and ordered the head gasket. Today got the head gasket in and got it back together. <br />A little toying with the carb and the timing it is back to purring like a swiss clock. Only cost me $135 for everything which was a releif with the wife. Now not only is she leaving me alone, I am once again her hero for fixing the problem.<br />Maybe next week will be able to give it a test run on the water.

Oh yeah, the best part.....I didn't have too many parts left over! I am sure they are not needed anyway.
