Loop charging kit?

My question is, is it possible to put a loop charging kit (aftermarket or whatever) on my 1967 RDSL-29E?

If not, then is there a place where i can buy the entire generator kit? (Generator, regulator, belt, and bracket?)

The reason i ask, is because my engine didnt come with a generator and i want to wire one in. I'm confident i can wire it in (because i have a seloc manual with all the specific wire guages, diagrams, etc)

I've not been able to find such kits anywhere at all.
Any Input?

You could try the top secret files at the beginning of this forum and look for salvage yards.

Re: Loop charging kit?

Consider rephrasing your question. "Loop Charging" is a totally different way of building engines, and has nothing whatsoever to do with battery charging.

OK, agreed, it is best you check around for used parts to build your generator kit. And don't believe the BS you are going to hear. For instance, you can not use a car regulator even though they do look alike.

EDIT: Are you aware that beginning with the 1967 year, the regulator mounts under the hood and you no longer need that junction box and cover? Send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll reply with the parts list so you know what you are looking for.
