When you go to full throttle the engine starts climbing rpm but lays over at 4000 rpm. I have replaced the coils and made sure that all cylinders are firing. The boat at low throttle comes up nicely but seems to hit a wall and the boat will not get up on plane. The boat is 23 foot pro line the engine is a 2001 Evinrude 225 model j225vxsif. I have cleaned connections replaced fuel filters. I can troll all day and the engine runs great trolling. also I have replaced all spark plugs.
