Hey new to this page here for starters. I bought an 88 wellcraft classic that needed work and i got it running but here my problem. Previous owner i stalled a battery kill swith and it was old and nasty so i took it off and put a new one on. But now when i turn it on i have power at the dash when i turn the key to accessory but when i go to crank it i lose all power. So i checked the voltage at the battery sitting at 12.3 but at the switch its only .2. I shut the swutch off let it sit come back turn the switch on it reads 12.3 everywhere try and start clicks and i have only .2 volts everywhere. Its a new starter too and have replaced the switch and still same results. But it i take the hot wire from the starter and put it on the positve lead of the battery shes cranks right up. What and i missing about this kill switch. I wire the switch with positve side of the battery on one and then the other side is the hot wite for the starter. Any helpnwould be great thanks.

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,...... It sounds like nasty corroded battery terminals, 'n/ or corrosion on the other end of the battery's (-) terminal cable,....

No corrosion

Ayuh,..... I'd sooner think it's a bad connection, or bad cable than the switch,......

Resistive corrosion is rarely visible,.....
