loss of power at high rpm

power loss occurs after running at 4k for 15 minutes, when engine tilt/trim is applied, motor attempt do die immediately. Can cause total failure of electrical guages and functions. Any insight apprecieated. two year old volvo 5.0 in very good condition. Need help troubleshooting the issue.

i know it's not much help but id look for a ground problem... maybe a positive problem...<br />near the battery...<br />if the whole boat go's wacky id look at the main power source first..<br />Restance go's up with temp...(15 min)<br />but boat's are fairly new to me <br />but i am quite verse in 12v auto systems.<br />and if it all fails at the same time thats where i would look <br />hope this help's in some small way,<br /> and if anybody has a better thought please share it..<br /><br />after-thought does that have electronic ignition on it?<br />igniotion modual's will fail after running for a bit...<br />just my 2cents<br />CBN
