First time poster, thanks in advance! I just bought a 1988 26.5 Bayliner Sunbridge, with a OMC 260 hp I/O. First trip out, (after checking all fluids, etc) it ran great for about 15-20 minutes, and the started sputtering and backfiring. I put in 2 bottles of stabil, because the fuel is at least 1-1/2 years old. The next run it stopped backfiring and sputtering, however there was a great loss of top end speed, and didn't want to idle. I am still assuming it is related to old gas, but dont really want to drain approx 70 gallons if I dont have to. Any suggestions? Also, if I may, where can I get more detailed info on accessory operation, (as in stove operation, dumping waste, etc). There is no manual that came with boat. Thanks again
