Lost 1000 RPM 94' 225 3.1L

1994 225TXRS 3.1L V76
I just lost 1000 RPM. Last weekend boat was running good up to 5300 RPM WOT with 19 pitch prop, went get back to dock engine started sneezing got home cleaned carbs. soaked in solution for about 1h put everything back adjust sync, adjust TPS .47v,adjust idle 725 RPM, adjust pilot screw 1 1/2 turn out, did compression test engine with normal temp 105 psi in all cylinder, replaced fuel/water separator 10 micron, went for test drive engine ran smooth but when hit WOT max rpm 3800 when start to plane max RPM 4000 w/trim up 4300 RPM last week before everything happens WOT 5300. I change All fuel hoses and New fuel pump about 6 month ago.

About the compression test that is ok or is to low what is min or max for this engine.

I'm missing something any help or suggestions?

does pumping the primer ball help?
have you T'd in a fuel pressure guage to measure pressure? 1-4"hg.
anything less, leak in fuel system, over is a restriction.

thank's cousinabe for reply Fuel preassure is 1hg I check the primer ball when is running and is hard.

I found my problem. The bracket and the shaft in the center of engine who control the linkage of the port side was wear out causing to open the butterfly of port side carb around 75 deg instead of 90 now the boat is running 5600rpm 58mph.I hope this help somebody
