Well you won't know for sure unless you run it, was it knocking and making bad noises? If not it may be fine, the Chevy small block lube system is pretty robust. My mother in law ran over a sharp object and tore a hole in the oil pan of her Nissan Maxima. She drove the car home and a few days later the oil light comes on. We look at the car, no oil on the stick. Did not realize what happened as of yet. Put in a few qts of oil and look down, all over the driveway! She had no memory of running over anything. Well she got a new oil pan put on the engine and its just fine. Like nothing happened!
