lost float needdle

i stripped down the carb put back together dropped a screw and the float needle fell out can i get one on its own or do i need to by the whole set?

Any time you rebuild a carb you should replace the needle and seat.

its amercury 2.5 diesel code no 09797568 dont know the year and its long shaft thats all i know
